Rehabilitation for Peripheral Nerve Injuries
Peripheral nerve injuries (neuropathy) are characterized by physical stress due to compression, pressure, tenseness and traction and evaluated as focal or multifocal neuropathies. Force and sense loss, vasomotor modifications and soft tissue modifications appear on related muscle groups and joints following the nerve injury. Following neurological examination and electrophysiological assessments (EMG), surgical or conservative treatment program is determined.
