Pes Planus (Flat Footed)
“Flat footed” is a clinical picture which appears as a result of relation of the foot and many bones on the ankle. The most common deformity is valgus appeared on the back of the foot and deflection on the mid-foot. These occur as a result of deformity on subthalar joint. Body weight-associated flat footed is characterized with an excessive aversion on subtalar joint, external rotation and dorsiflexion of calcaneus related with talus.
