Spine Fractures
Fractures of the spine are different from a fracture of an arm or leg. A fracture in the spine may compress onto the spinal channel and cause damage on the spinal nerve. Most spinal fractures and dislocations occur by traffic accidents, falling, injury by firearms or sports injuries. Injuries may vary from intermediate muscle and ligament injuries to dislocations with fractures that may cause paralysis.
