Rehabilitation For Facial Nerve Paralysis
Facial paralysis is one of the most common types of neuropathies. It causes tongue, mouth, eye and ear deformities during the acute period and permanent facial asymmetry in the chronic period. Facial paralysis may occur due to trauma, tumors, inflammation and other reasons. Hypertension, diabetes and multiple sclerosis (MS) generally accompany facial paralysis. However, the cause for facial paralysis is not detected in most cases.
