Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) has been classically defined as a chronic, inflammatory autoimmune disorder which causes the attack of the immune system into the joints. It is a preventative and painful inflammatory condition. It may cause significant movement restrictions due to pain and joint wear. The disease is systemic because it affects many tissues besides the joints such as skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs and muscles.
